Maui Longboarding

Some spots on Maui lend themselves perfectly to longboarding specifically. Long, mellow, forgiving waves can be found all around the south and west shores of Maui. Advanced longboarders surf pretty much all spots around Maui. The level of difficulty depends on the wave location, but you’d be surprised what some of the pros can do.

Learning to surf on Maui is best done on a longboard. The length, width and thickness allows for optimal buoyancy and more stable rides.
